Deepak Ganger

Hi, I'm Deepak! I am a Maths master's graduate from Oxford who is now the current youngest maths teacher at the renowned Radley College with particular specialisation in applied mathematics and statistics. Over my years at Oxford, I acquired a deep understanding in a few fields, including machine learning, fluid mechanics (including computational fluid simulations) and mathematical physics. Where possible, I blend my teaching style towards improving problem solving skills and gaining understanding of the tools they use which I link to something practical or of interest to the student.

I have helped students receive Oxbridge offers and markedly improve their grades. I also tutored as part of the national tutoring programme during the pandemic, where I assisted in teaching GCSE and A-Level students on a regular basis to help them catch up on lost school hours. More recently, I have focused on Oxbridge admissions, consisting of coaching for the MAT and Oxbridge interviews.

I have tutored voluntarily as part of charities such as Schools Plus Oxford, UniPear and Northmoor community association centre in order to help tackle educational inequality as well as completing maths outreach as part of my ambassador work for the mathematical institute at Oxford University. Also as part of my outreach ambassador work I presented a topic in mathematics to prospective undergraduates to Oxford online which was viewed live (online) by more than 1000 pupils. Due to popular demand from the viewers, I was also reinvited to do another live session which reached more than 1000 live viewers again.

I also was involved in managing and tutoring for the company Manchester Tuition Centre Ltd where I acted as the head of operations as a major stakeholder in order to grow the company and improve the quality of tutors in the company.
