I am a passionate and experienced teacher who has taught English in a variety of cultures and with a variety of age groups. I really believe in a fun, dynamic and enjoyable classroom experience. I have worked with every age group there is in China, Spain and South Korea. In China I taught mainly children between the ages of 3 and 12. We mainly focussed on vocabulary and building the fundamentals of communication. In Spain I taught several adult classes and also had classes with teenagers/young adults aged between 12 and 20. In the classes with adults we mainly focussed on their speaking abilities with a particular emphasis on pronunciation as this tends to be a bigger problem for adult learners. In Korea I worked with one class of 4 year olds. This, as you can imagine, was a hectic and fast paced environment but I loved the kids and the work!

I believe in strongly conversation based classes with as little reading as possible (this can be done in the students own time, unless of course it is the students wish to specifically work on their reading). My aim is to tailor a class to meet the specific needs of the student. In the first few classes I would aim to just talk and assess abilities and areas to timprove in the students English. I can then use my experience and knowledge to help. Whether the issue be vocabulary, listening, pronunciation or any other than I have the knowledge and experience to deal with it. I conduct my classes online and I am comfortable with either one on one or with group classes.
