I'm an experienced artist with a background in theatre and TV. I have also exhibited watercolour, mixed media, acrylic paintings & textile art, locally. I have taught various classes for adults through Vale of Glamorgan Council - Dress-making for beginners, Clothes Up-cycling, How to use a Sewing Machine. I have also taught workshops for children through my business - Cwtch Club -

I will start by teaching colour theory, students will then have a go at mixing colours themselves. I will introduce different watercolour techniques for each class, allowing students the chance to try each individual technique and then amalgamate what they have learned towards the end of the class. I will provide picture references to inspire and also ask students to bring in their own references. I will encourage the use of personal sketch books to keep a record of learning and work and also to encourage observation and recording skills. The final lesson will allow students to bring all of their new skills together to make their own piece of art from their own personal reference.

I will provide all materials apart from sketch books.

I am a relaxed tutor who likes to encourage individuality. I believe everyone is an artist, they just need to let it out.
