Debby Koo

I am a Medical Student at Cardiff University, having just completed my fourth year of medical school. I have been awarded A* in GCSE Mathematics, A^ (with distinction) in GCSE Further Mathematics, and A* in A level Mathemathetics with an average of 93.5/100.

I have a wealth of peer-teaching experience, both in-person and online, during my time in Medical School over the past two years, of which received excellent feedback. I enjoy using written PowerPoint slides alongside verbal explanations to maximise students' learning experiences and using quizzes e.g. Kahoot at the end of lessons to augment my lessons for consolidation purposes.

Coming from an international family myself, I have a passion for making education accessible to students from all cultural backgrounds. I am keen to further expand on my teaching experience with tutoring our future generation.
