Olá! I'm a proud Carioca from Rio de Janeiro, now living in Colchester, and I'm here to prove that learning Portuguese doesn't have to feel like sitting in a dusty classroom.

With over 8 years of experience in hospitality (including front desk at the Accor/Mercure Hotel in Brazil), my career has been built on active listening and helping people find exactly what they need. Now I'm bringing that same people-first energy to tutoring.

Holiday Makers – Planning a trip to Brazil? We won't just study grammar. We'll talk about where to find the best pão de queijo, how to get around Rio safely, and the slang that makes you sound like a local, not a tourist.

Professionals & Adults – Learning for work or a hobby? I tailor every session to your pace, focusing on real conversation that actually matters.

Little Ones (Primary School Kids) – This is where my heart is. As a mum, I've raised my daughter to be perfectly bilingual. She's been in UK schools since nursery and now thrives in reception, speaking both Portuguese and English fluently. I use the same playful methods with my young students: games, songs, and storytelling.

What are my lessons like?

Forget boring drills. My lessons are dynamic and interactive. You tell me what you want to learn, and I find the best way to teach it, based on the method you prefer. One day we might analyse a Brazilian song; the next, we'll practise ordering at a restaurant. I'll focus 100% on your goals and teach you Brazilian Portuguese, your way.
