I prefer students to tell me the things they enjoy learning and try to base my lessons around the skills they already have to ensure success.
Students need meaningful experiences to be successful in learning, although it is important to follow the curriculum, it does not have to be conventional.
It is vital for consistency that a student feels comfortable with their learning, but also engages well and through the differential learning processes becomes willing to push the boundaries and achieve lasting success.
All subjects require exploration, but this does not have to be always textbook based, students can learn in any environment, through all sorts of mechanisms, the classroom can be anywhere. In today’s society, we have so many opportunities for learning, we can be anywhere to get a grip on the subject matter and run with it.
Each student must think outside the box if they wish for real success. I pride myself on getting students to think all around the subject matter to ensure they gain an experience that will remain deep rooted and allow them to remember it at all times.
Most of the learning matter is a skill for life and needs to be recognised as such, we will aim for the stars to ensure future success. Nothing is beyond our reach.
Please remember that whatever stage of learning you are already at, there is a whole world out there waiting to be explored and it is always achievable and success is waiting to happen .
