FUN, CLEAR, AND NEVER BORING

My lessons are hands-on. Your child doesn't just listen, they build something real every session: a website, a game or a Python program. Every lesson is broken into small, clear steps, so nothing feels overwhelming.

HOW EACH LESSON WORKS
1. Warm-up (5 min): a quick game or challenge to get the brain going.
2. Learn it (15 min): one new idea, explained in plain language with a simple example.
3. Build it (30 min): we create something together, then your child tries it alone.
4. Show it off (10 min): your child shows what they made, and we celebrate it.

WHAT I USE, AND WHY IT WORKS
I use teaching methods that research shows are the most effective for learning to code:
- Learning by doing: children write real code from minute one.
- Worked examples first, then independent practice.
- Quick recap questions at the start of each lesson, so knowledge sticks.
- Pair programming: we solve problems together step by step.
- Small steps that build up slowly, so every child can keep up.

MY EXPERIENCE
I'm a qualified IT and Computing teacher with classroom experience at [your school type], and a working full-stack developer who builds both the front end and back end of real software. I'm currently studying for an MSc in Artificial Intelligence at King's College London, where I'm learning the latest ideas in technology and how people learn them best. I bring all of that into my lessons, in a way that is simple, friendly and patient.

- Online: live video call with screen sharing. I can see your child's code and help in real time. All you need is a laptop and internet. I provide every learning material.

VIDEOS AND PROGRESS TRACKING
- After each lesson I send a short summary of what we covered and what's next.

Children earn points, badges and certificates for effort and progress, so learning feels like a game.

Complete beginners and advanced coders are both welcome. I also help with homework, class projects and coursework, and I run exam preparation with practice questions and revision games for [KS3 / GCSE / A-level]. My goal is to help your child feel confident and stand out in school.
