David Mafullul

I am a newly qualified medical doctor from the University of Cambridge. I have an excellent academic background and years of experience tutoring maths and physics at GCSE and A-level as well as supervising neuroscience at undergraduate/university level. I am a friendly and hardworking individual with good communication skills developed through my experience of teaching, in addition to communication skills gained through interacting with patients and multidisciplinary team members within a hospital setting and research placements.

My lessons are typically very interactive and engaging which involve focussing on working through exam-style questions and delivering targeted teaching to work on areas where students lack complete understanding. I provide detailed structured feedback after lessons so that students can track their progress over time and at any point in time know which areas in the syllabus they can focus on during independent study to maximise results. Lastly, I am repeatedly complemented on my ability to explain topics clearly and succinctly in order to break through roadblocks in understanding so that students don't simply rote-learn information, but rather achieve a deep level of understanding which they can retain long-term.
