I use both PowerPoint slides and notes written in real time to present the concepts then explain them in depth using examples or other hand-drawn methods. This usually consists of switching between PowerPoint or equivalent system slides and handwritten digital notes in real time to illustrate unclear concepts and deepen understanding.
I am open to questions and will sometimes ask the tutee to complete one or two examples to show they understand a concept, as well as guide them to further reading and learning outside sessions. The content can vary from revision of all core areas to in-depth teaching of one specific topic, all dependent on the tutee's needs and requirements for the subject. This most often includes an introduction to the core concept, a handwritten example, an example given to the tutee then helping clear any misconceptions and other questions the tutee has about the subject
I can and have previously created lesson plans and will do so, including multi-session programs, and these can be adjusted as needed to best help the tutee in their support. I was also previously an Army cadet and completed a junior instructor course, so I have experience teaching unclear concepts to a wide range of skills and abilities. Further, during my time in college, I informally taught and tutored for both GCSE and helped clarify A-level concepts to friends and friends' siblings, so I have experience teaching on a 1:1 basis to a wide variety of skills and abilities; this also means I am flexible and adaptable in my teaching style to help a variety of ages and abilities.
