Dassi Glover

As an English and Creative Writing graduate with four years tutoring experience, I am searching for new opportunities to help students with their exams. I tutor English Literature GCSE and A-Level along with GCSE English Language. I teach AQA, Edexcel, Eduqas and IGCSE exam boards.

I am understanding, patient and supportive, providing structured and tailored lessons. I can help with revision, exam practise, and marking, providing the 1-1 help students need to achieve success. In my time as an online English tutor I have helped students achieve their target grades and beyond, therefore being awarded 5 stars for my teaching abilities. I also achieved 3 A-Levels at grade A, which includes, English Literature, Geography and RS.

No matter the grade or how difficult a student finds a subject, I will try my best to help the student achieve the grade they want. I’m very hands-on and strive to build a good relationship with my students where they feel comfortable and able to ask questions.

Furthermore, I love the creativity that English brings. There is never one way to view or analyse things and everything has a reason behind it. English History is also something I love to discuss especially when the student has never learnt it before. It is very rewarding when a student understands a concept after finding it difficult in class.
