Darren Anthony Blinkhorn Blinkhorn

I have been in teaching a total of 25 years teaching pupils of all ages from 14 to senior adult. I’ve taught mostly further and higher education to HNC but have been involved in workshops and after school clubs.

Lessons will be different depending on your needs and weaknesses but very casual and happy atmosphere with good content and ability to mix not just maths but where it applies in real life situation while still addressing the requirements of the standards.

I like to use a range of techniques myself but I like to ask you what you feel happy and comfortable with. We then work together and formulate a strategy that can gain you a good understanding of. This might include booklets , cards , computers , notes and other technologies and traditional methods.

You will be given a plan that you need to agree to otherwise we can alter it to your strengths. The lessons are snappy at times with patience with a level of patience most times. Learning comes from patience as well as understanding.
I will set up a plan based on the free session of which we agree on then we are good to go.

Finally the maths are algebra too stats with trigonometry and geometry included. It is applied so plenty of examples of real life situations but with a look at the specification.
