Darragh Hamill

Hi my name is Darragh Hamill. I am a business studies post primary teacher. I have studied at St Mary’s University College Belfast BEd programme with Business. I have tutored students for the past year or two both 1 on 1 and online. My main teaching styles is through PowerPoint and making useful and simplified notes to allow pupils to understand subject areas to prepare for exams eg GCSES and A-level. I will also go over past paper questions and exam technique. I have taught CCEA and AQA. I have taught all age groups in my 3 years of placement during my time at University. I have taught 4th year, 5th year, lower sixth and upper sixth. I have covered a range of topics within my subject areas of Business and ICT. The main topics I have covered are Stakeholders, Enterprise, Business ownership, marketing and market research and marketing mix and accounts. I have used a range of teaching techniques both during tutoring and in school sessions to meet the different types of learners needs such as Visual, Auditory, Reading and Writing and Kinaesthetic learners.
