My lessons are tailored to each student’s learning style and goals. I start by identifying areas of strength and challenge, then build structured sessions that combine clear explanations with active engagement. Whether we’re breaking down tricky theories, reviewing exam questions, or building revision strategies, I make sure every session feels purposeful and manageable.
I’ve previously tutored GCSE students and now focus on A-Level Psychology (AQA), drawing on my own A* experience and current studies in neuroscience and psychology at King’s College London. I use techniques like active recall, spaced repetition, and visual mapping to help students retain information and apply it confidently in exams. Lessons are interactive, supportive, and designed to build both understanding and self-belief.
In each lesson, I focus on building a strong foundation of understanding before moving into exam technique and application. I use a mix of active recall, spaced repetition, and real exam questions to help students retain information and feel confident using it under pressure. Lessons are structured but flexible—I adapt the pace and format depending on what works best for each student. Whether we’re tackling tricky topics like biopsychology or refining essay structure, I aim to make the content feel manageable and engaging. I also encourage students to ask questions and reflect on their progress, so they feel involved and supported throughout. My goal is to help students not only improve their grades but also develop lasting confidence in their ability to understand and enjoy psychology and help you reach your full academic potential.
