During my lessons, I try and bring excitement and fun to my lessons by nurturing creativity. The format for my lessons will begin with a 10-minute starter activity to warm up and ease the student into learning. Following this, we will start on a 30-minute assisted artwork, followed by a 5-minute discussion/break. (depending on age) After the break, we will either do an assisted or unassisted artwork depending on the student's needs and requirements.
My lessons focus on curriculum-based education and also skill-building techniques with a multi-media focus. Experimenting with different materials and exploring technical aspects about art, such as colour theory, proportion, and elements of art.
Lesson structure and contents vary depending on the student's age, skill level and SEND requirements. If parents request a centered focus, please discuss this with me prior to the lesson so I can prepare a more appropriate lesson plan in advance.
I will require current work from the student, or a curriculum from their school to enhance their development.
