For me the lessons are focused on the student and what the student is finding most difficult. Anything that my students are finishing hard to understand or grasp a good method for I’m here to help. The best way to learn is to make the mistakes, if you make mistakes and don’t rectify them you will never learn.
The way I work is I like to understand what my student is finding most difficult maybe give me a few topics and we work together through different methods and ways about going about different questions.
We write some mathematical notes so whenever my student finds this topic hard again they can look through the note to remind themselves. In my notes, it consists of a description and a few examples.
After this I work through different type of questions related to the topic.
After my student can tell me if they still need some help and we can do more practice. For maths the best way to learn is practice practice because the questions are always the same they just change the statistics.
