I have extensive experience in teaching physical education to students ranging from ages 3 upwards. Additionally, I have worked as a mentor, supporting students across all of their subjects. I find it particularly rewarding to help students who struggle with academic subjects. I enjoy finding new and creative ways to help them understand the material and develop their skills. Seeing them succeed and gain confidence in their abilities is what motivates me as an educator.
My BSc in Sports Therapy has given me a comprehensive understanding of human anatomy and biomechanics, which is applicable to both science-based subjects and physical education. This knowledge has allowed me to develop a deeper understanding of the human body and how it functions, which has been invaluable in my teaching and mentoring roles.
In addition to my understanding of human anatomy and biomechanics, my BSc in Sports Therapy has provided me with a solid foundation in academic writing. Through this degree, I have honed my writing and research skills, which has allowed me to become a competent proofreader and editor. This has been particularly useful in my teaching and mentoring roles, as I am able to help students improve their writing and communication skills.
My lessons are engaging and practical-based, allowing students to learn through hands-on experiences and real-world applications. I believe that this approach is particularly effective in helping students develop a deeper understanding of the material and retain the knowledge long-term. By making the lessons interactive and relevant to their lives, I am able to keep students engaged and motivated, which ultimately leads to better learning outcomes.
