Hi, I’m Danielle — an experienced English tutor currently working within a secondary school environment, supporting students from Years 7–11 with GCSE English Language and Literature. I specialise in helping students build confidence, improve grades, and feel less overwhelmed by English.

My lessons are supportive, structured, and tailored to each student’s needs. Whether your child needs help understanding texts, improving analytical writing, preparing for exams, or simply building confidence with reading and literacy skills, I adapt lessons to suit their learning style and pace.

I have experience supporting a wide range of learners, including students with SEN, ADHD, autism, EAL learners, and those who struggle with confidence in school. I focus heavily on clear explanations, modelling answers step-by-step, and creating a calm environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.

My teaching style is interactive and engaging — I use guided practice, scaffolded tasks, quick recall activities, and live feedback to help students make progress during the lesson itself, not just afterwards.
