In my lessons we analyse the difficulties that the student may be facing, and then we focus on that topic but in a fun and engaging manor. I set students homework tasks that would be useful and will improve their english but also be interesting for them. To create variety in lesson style, some of my lessons are conversational and will focus on pronunciation and grammar as these are difficult and important to learn and master. Where-as the other lessons will focus on homework tasks and topics that need to be learnt. My lessons have been fun and engaging with receiving feedback from parents that their child is more passionate and receiving higher grades in their english subject since they started having lessons with me. I have been teaching students from all different ages, with some from primary/secondary school and some adults. Recently I have helped a Russian student with their interview prep to get a place at a prestigious school in the North West of England. All my students have varying capabilities and I tailor the work for them to their capabilities, as some are more capable than others. My lessons are normally 1hr but I have in the past had lessons for 1hr and a half as the student greatly benefited from longer lessons. I have been teaching part-time over 4 years with approximately 3-4 lessons a week with all different students. My meetings take place on Zoom, but I'm willing to accommodate to other programs if students don't have access.
