This will help me to prepare specifically for the student’s individual ability. The lessons will be very adaptive to what the student needs. I’d need to know before hand what stage in their maths development they are at. This will help me to prepare specifically for the student’s individual ability. Once I’m aware of these, I will plan and deliver catered and engaging sessions, making sure the student actually comprehends the topic. This is instead of just teaching them tricks or methods to simply answer questions. At the session’s conclusion, I will go and create optional homework tasks specific to the student’s challenges so that they have the platform to improve and challenge themselves.
