Please send me any questions you would like me to go through in advance, so that I can write my own solutions and be ready to help you in our lesson. My preferred approach is to understand your problems and depending on the complexity of the topic will break down the questions into bite sized chunks, which I can then walk through with you. Having won the School maths prize on several occasions including my final year, I used to help my peers understand some of the more complex topics for both GCSE and A level maths. I was also regularly successful in the UK maths challenges and qualified for the maths kangaroo so I am used to looking at maths problems in different ways. I also reached the final round of the UK Ritangle team maths challenge with some other students so I have experience solving tricky maths problems with a team.
