Lessons are an hour long, but can be extended on request.

A new student will inform me of their exam board, syllabus, and any relevant texts.

We will start with an informal chat about where the student thinks their strengths and weaknesses lie, and what they most need instruction on.

We will then proceed to a focused instruction on a specific learning outcome chosen based on the prior conversation.

Afterwards the student undertakes a guided exercise to put into practice their knowledge of the learning outcome.

At the end we will recap what we've learned and the student has the opportunity to ask any questions and we will discuss what the student may find useful in the subsequent lesson.
