Daniel Oliveira

My lessons are designed to be dynamic, interactive, and adapted to each student's goals, interests, and learning pace. As a geographer, I have a strong academic background in Geography, particularly in human geography, urban studies, cultural geography, environmental issues, transportation and many more areas.
I like to combine theory with practical examples, real-world situations, maps, images, news, and discussions to make learning more engaging and meaningful. Rather than simply memorizing information, I encourage students to develop critical thinking, ask questions, and understand how geographical processes shape the world around us.
My teaching approach is flexible: lessons can focus on building foundational knowledge, preparing for exams, improving academic skills, or exploring specific topics in greater depth. I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel encouraged to participate, make mistakes, and develop confidence.
My main goal is to make Geography interesting, accessible, and relevant to everyday life, showing that it goes far beyond maps and locations.
In case you´re wondering about my qualifications. I have a bachelor´s degree in geography with a post grad certificate in human geography and currently taking a masters in a related field.
