About me

I am a qualified teacher with QTS and have over 20 years' teaching experience behind me. I am always patient and adapt my lessons to your wishes and needs.

I taught general and business English in Modena for 1 year and then in Paris for 5 years, as well as ESOL/EFL in a Further Education college here in Manchester for 6 years. I have also worked in Trieste and Nantes as a translator.

I taught general and business English in Modena for 1 year and then in Paris for 5 years, as well as ESOL/EFL in a Further Education college here in Manchester for 6 years. I have also worked in Trieste and Nantes as a translator.

As well as French and Italian, I speak some German and Spanish.

I have also taught EAP (English for Academic Purposes) in the summer at the University of Manchester for over 10 years. Nowadays I teach languages freelance and also mark exams and proofread essays and dissertations for students.

In my free time I enjoy listening to music, reading articles online, travelling abroad and meeting friends in the pub.

I am looking forward to working with you and helping you to learn English, French or Italian.
