Subjects such as stem can be incredibly difficult. I personally was working at a level 4/5 only 4 months ago. Now I have finished mocks with straight 8's and have predicted straight 9's in my GCSE'S. I hope to share how to achieve this incredible learning curve. My speciality subject is physics and I believe I would be able to improve anyone's GCSE score by at least 2-4 within a month (with practice)
My lessons will take one of 2 formats. 1: Lessons. I will go through a PowerPoint/text explaining a topic and answer any questions about said topic(s) over a screen or in person. These PowerPoints will pertain to topics wanted by parents or those most likely to come up at GCSE level. The tutee will take a set of notes and will be quizzed at the end. Any missed points will be reminded/clarified. Depending on progress and parental choice, homework may or may not be set.
2: exam practice. The tutee will take a series of tests/past GCSE questions and they will be marked and given back with feedback (usually after several lessons) to consolidate knowledge and ease into the GCSE syllabus’s style as well as get real exam feedback.
Any other format can naturally be requested and I will accommodate to challenges and needs accordingly, I.e. if the tutee has no books/learns better through visual input, I will collate a more visual display with diagrams/pictures etc…
My current school is Westminster school (#1-3 consistently of top academic schools both in the uk and the world)
