Each lesson will begin with a short check-in and warm-up (around 5–10 minutes) to help the student settle in and feel comfortable. This may include a brief chat about their week or any specific challenges they’ve faced in English, followed by a quick activity such as a vocabulary builder or a single RUAE-style question to get their mind focused. We’ll then move into the main part of the lesson, where we’ll work through key RUAE question types—such as understanding in your own words, word choice, sentence structure, and tone—using real past paper extracts or targeted exercises. I’ll explain strategies clearly, model how to approach the questions, and then give the student time to try it themselves, with support and feedback throughout. Toward the end of the session, we’ll review what we covered, go over any tricky areas, and set a small, manageable task or goal for the next session. Each lesson will be tailored to the student’s pace and needs, with a focus on building confidence, exam technique, and understanding of the RUAE paper.
