I'm a native Korean speaker with a professional background spanning content creation, language operations, and AI language evaluation, and I've spent years working at the intersection of Korean language and real-world communication.

My YouTube channel, built entirely in Korean for a native Korean audience, grew from zero to over 12,000 subscribers and 20 million views in under two months. That didn't happen by accident, it happened because I understand how Koreans actually speak, think, and express themselves. Not the Korean in textbooks. The Korean in kitchens, offices, markets, and conversations between friends.

That's exactly what I bring to my lessons.

Who I teach: Adult learners at any level: complete beginners who want to learn Hangul and survive their first trip to Korea, intermediate learners who feel stuck in "textbook mode," and advanced speakers who want to sound more natural and culturally fluent.

How lessons work: Every lesson starts with your goal. Are you learning for travel? A Korean partner or family? K-drama obsession? Career reasons? We build from there. Sessions are conversational and practical: real dialogue, real listening, real feedback. No rote memorisation for its own sake.

Typical lesson formats include: guided conversation practice, pronunciation and intonation drills, vocabulary in cultural context, listening comprehension with authentic Korean audio, and structured grammar explanation only when it actually helps you communicate better.

I also bring cultural context into every lesson: because Korean language and Korean culture are inseparable. Understanding why something is said the way it is makes it stick far longer than memorising a rule.

Lessons are conducted via video call, flexible to your schedule across UK time zones. Materials are provided, and every session is tailored, no generic lesson plans.

If you've tried apps, flashcards, or group classes and still feel like something isn't clicking, let's have a trial lesson and find out what will.
