Daayim Mustapha

My lessons are relaxed, friendly and fully focused on the individual student. Each session lasts one hour and always begins by checking in on what the student has been covering in school and where they feel least confident. From there, we work through topics together at a pace that suits them — no rushing, no pressure.
I adapt every lesson to the student's needs, whether that means following the school curriculum, tackling past exam papers, or going back to basics to fill any gaps in understanding. I provide materials and worksheets where needed, or we can work directly through the student's own school work and homework.
My approach is all about making sure the student genuinely understands the topic rather than just memorising steps. I like to explain things from different angles until something clicks, and I always encourage questions — there is no such thing as a silly one.
Although I am at the start of my tutoring journey, my academic background in BSc Computer Science (Security & Forensics) at Cardiff University has given me a strong mathematical foundation, and my passion for breaking down complex problems in a simple, clear way is what drives me to teach.
