My lessons are clear, structured, and tailored to each student’s needs. I prepare customised learning materials and guided exercises for every lesson. I anticipate common difficulties students often face and provide clear guidelines to help them think more deeply about how to tackle questions. I teach key concepts, highlight typical errors, and use an interactive approach so learners at different levels can make steady progress.
My teaching motto is: “Build strong basics, avoid mistakes, gain confidence.” This reflects my focus on strengthening foundations, helping students overcome common challenges, and encouraging them to grow steadily in Accounting.
With over 15 years of teaching experience and examiner roles for Pearson, OCR and the Hong Kong Examinations Authority, I bring valuable insight into exam standards and marking. This allows me to show students exactly how to avoid common mistakes and develop the exam skills needed to achieve higher grades.
My lessons are suitable for A-Level, LCCI and Book-keeping learners, as well as beginners who want to understand Accounting in a simple and practical way. I use step-by-step explanations, real-world examples, and practice questions to make Accounting more accessible. Students can expect patient guidance, constructive feedback, and plenty of opportunities to apply what they learn, so they gradually build confidence and independence in their studies.
I believe every student has the potential to succeed with the right support, encouragement, and strategies. My role is to guide, motivate, and give them the tools to learn independently. I aim to inspire a positive attitude towards Accounting, helping students not only pass exams but also develop useful skills for future study and work.
