1. Set realistic goals based on the student's current/expected grades.
2. Review contents and solve problems
3. Do past papers in exam conditions, mark them.
4. Repeat 2 and 3 until confident.
5. Study/read around the subject/personal interest.

There is no perfect study plan, everyone has different learning abilities.
