I will use a variety of visual and audio aids including some books I have found to be helpful for my students in the past. However, I am also happy to accommodate if you have certain books or materials you would like me to use. The lessons will generally be quite interactive - I find that English is much better mastered through constant practice and mistake making. During the first lesson, we will get to know each other by conversing in English at whatever competency you are at so that I can understand better exactly what you'd like to achieve out of the following lessons.

My previous students were aged 4-16, and their first languages were generally not Latin-alphabet based like Arabic, Japanese or Thai. I conducted lessons in a class setting and on one-to-one basis, both virtually and in-person. I am happy to prepare progress reports or use any existing rubrics in order to assist with your learning.
