Craig Gilligan

I had the privillage of working in secondary & post 16 education for over 30 years including leading a busy department as Director of Music and Performing Arts. I am proud to have dedicated my career to nurturing musical talent across all ages and ability levels. Influenced by saxophone giants such as David Sanborn, Michael Brecker, Charlie Parker & King Curtis. I have been fortunate in my playing career to perform with artists including Elkie Brookes, Paul Young, Seal, Ray Lewis (Drifters) and complete several UK tours with the Central Television Summer Roadshows.

My recording credits include solo sax on many TV & Radio commercials, studio sessions and brass section playing. I was represented by the agency ‘Session Connection’ in London, for many years and had the privilege of performing in a number of established shows like the Buddy Holly Story on the West End.
