In my experience in tutoring, I like to start off with ensuring students understand basic concepts first then slowly going up the difficulty ladder. Since mathematics is my subject, I will ensure students understand concepts such as numbers and algebra first then going onto the harder topics at hand. In my experience in tutoring, I like to start off with ensuring students understand basic concepts first then slowly going up the difficulty ladder. Since mathematics is my subject, I will ensure students understand concepts such as numbers and algebra first then going onto the harder topics at hand. From personal experience a one on one tutor for me ensured I understood the concepts i struggled with and enhanced the areas i did understand and i believe this method is essential in teaching. With one on one tutoring, students are able to feel comfortable asking questions and that is the most important part about learning.
