Whether online or in person I like to personalise my lessons to each student using both material I have on hand through my studies as well as using school materials from the student and helping them transform those materials into easy to study notes while ensuring full understanding of the concepts within them. I do a lot of work between lessons in terms of researching the requirements for each student as well as if needed assist them in creating their notes. I may also ask the student to prepare personalised notes between sessions to ensure a speedy and effective creation of these notes. I prefer to focus on one topic per class and try not to rush too far ahead and ensure all notes are made for that topic before moving on. I believe it’s important not to rush students too quickly between topics without creating a base of understanding and prepared notes before moving on which means I will put key importance on the pace of learning of each individual student.
