In my lessons, we’ll be using the textbook Minna no Nihongo, which is one of the most popular and reliable resources for learning Japanese. This book provides a clear structure for grammar, vocabulary, and sentence patterns, making it especially useful for beginners and those preparing for academic study or exams like the JLPT. I combine textbook study with practical exercises such as conversation practice, listening activities, and writing tasks, so you’ll not only understand the material but also know how to use it in real life.

For students learning as a hobby, I also like to bring in elements of Japanese culture, media, and everyday expressions to make the lessons more fun and engaging. Typically, we’ll review previous material, go through new content step by step, and then practice together. My approach is flexible—I adjust the pace to your needs and make sure every lesson feels both enjoyable and productive.
