The lessons I provide will be tailored to what you need first and foremost. We will set out some simple goals of what you would like to learn and take our journey to get there at your pace.

For myself, it's most important in your own development of theory, composition, or guitar, to develop your own voice so as we learn different techniques and skills you can implement in your own works, we can work on not just how to do this but where and when to apply these concepts.

I want the lessons I provide to be a safe and welcoming environment for all my students, and part of that welcoming process is allowing you the patience as you begin to learn but letting you lead our sessions into the direction you want to take in your own works. I'm here to give you the roadmap of getting to your goals as we make our way there.

Of course, most importantly, it will be a lot of fun! If something stops feeling fun to learn about, we can change course or we can take the time to dissect where we're struggling, and how we combat it together.
