Colin Parker

I am a UK-based artist and educator with over a
decade of experience in teaching workshops in Japanese-influenced ink painting and the philosophy of Wabi-Sabi. My workshops are open to all ages and abilities, available globally online and in-person by arrangement—because creativity has no borders.

From classrooms to cafés, wilderness retreats to professional studios, I bring a unique, hands-on approach that blends storytelling, tradition, and artistic exploration.

Incorporating aspects of the practice of Kintsugi, we will create stunning ink artwork before making reparations in adding gold elements to turn flaws and brokenness into something more beautiful than before.

Whether you're a beginner or seasoned artist, let’s embrace imperfection and discover the beauty in the unexpected together.
