I believe in playing on students' strengths, and encouraging them in weaker areas which they may feel less confident in. With a subject like English, the subjectivity is often overwhelming for students, therefore I focus on breaking down the topics in question so they can be approached in a more tangible and student friendly way. I believe in making learning fun, and will often use play (e.g. inventing games to help with spelling) to aid learning. Overall I aim to make the topics in question approachable and less scary for students so they can complete tasks to the best of their ability!
