My lessons are calm, structured and designed to help young learners feel confident and proud of their progress. I specialise in phonics, early reading, writing and basic maths, and I tailor every session to the child’s individual needs.

A typical lesson includes a short warm-up, a focused activity based on the child’s current learning stage, and a fun, engaging task to help them practise new skills. I use simple, proven KS1 strategies such as blending and segmenting for phonics, reading prompts for fluency, and small-step modelling for early maths.

I keep sessions friendly and reassuring, especially for children who feel nervous or need extra encouragement. I have hands-on experience supporting KS1 pupils of all abilities, including children with SEN, and I always adapt my pace and approach to suit each learner.

At the end of every lesson, I give clear feedback so parents know exactly what we covered and how their child is progressing. My aim is to make learning enjoyable, achievable and confidence-boosting for every child.
