Hello! My lessons are interactive, supportive, and tailored to each student's unique goals and learning style. We begin each session with a “check-in” to understand where the student is emotionally and mentally, creating a safe and open environment where they feel heard and valued. This practice helps us build a trusting relationship, allowing students to share their challenges and celebrate their successes.
In each lesson, I use a mix of structured teaching, fun, engaging activities, and real-world applications to make learning enjoyable and meaningful. I use a range of learning materials including video. interactive online quizzes and presentations and incorporate various resources—such as past exam papers, creative writing exercises, and practical problem-solving activities—to develop skills in critical thinking, resilience, and effective study habits.
Depending on the student’s goals, we may focus on academic subjects like English - how to embed quotations or structure a persuasive essay effectively, or delve into study techniques, time management, and confidence-building exercises to support their broader development.
I also adapt the format of each lesson based on the student’s progress and learning styles. For instance, with students preparing for exams, I focus on targeted revision and practice papers, combined with stress management techniques to help them stay calm and perform their best. For students facing academic or personal challenges, I blend academic support with life-coaching strategies, helping them build resilience and confidence to navigate their studies and daily life with greater ease.
With over 15 years of experience and a background in Youth Mentoring, I am dedicated to nurturing students both academically and emotionally, empowering them to reach their full potential.
