Claire Yindom

Hello! My name is Claire and I am looking to tutor people studying maths and biology from primary up until A-levels. The exam boards I will be using are Edexcel for Maths and AQA for Biology. Additionally, I am quite passionate about English and would love to assist those who need help with English up until GCSE level. All the sessions will be held online and I will try to adapt my teaching style to better suit each student.

I am quite passionate about all the subjects I assist with. I got 9's in Maths, Biology and English Lang and Lit at GCSE level as well as a distinction in my English speaking. When it comes to A-levels, I got A*'s in both Maths and Biology as well as an A in Further Maths. Beyond simply getting good grades, I have always had an interest in helping others with their academics and would often have afterschool study sessions with my peers where I would help them with areas they were struggling with and try to improve their understanding of different topics. Even during the exam season, I was the frequent point of contact for many when it came to topics they were struggling with as well as specific questions they found challenging. I invest myself greatly when helping others and so made the decision to join a society centred around tutoring in my university.
