I am a Chinese native speaker and got my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in English language and literature. After graduation, I've been teaching English to university students at a prestigious university in Beijing as a lecturer and then associate professor for twenty years. I obtained the scholarship from China Scholarship Council to be an academic visitor at a UK university in 2019. Since 2022, I've been a full-time PhD student doing sociological research in the UK. I obtained my Cambridge ESOL Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA) in June 2024.
