What are my lessons like?

My lessons are designed to be fun, interactive, and tailored especially for children aged 5 to 12. I use games, songs, stories, and colourful visuals to make learning Chinese exciting and easy to follow.

Each lesson includes speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities, all paced to suit your child’s level and interests. I focus on everyday vocabulary and simple sentences that kids can start using right away.

I was born and raised in Hong Kong, so I’m a native speaker who understands both the language and culture deeply. Now, as an A-level student studying in the UK, I bring a fresh and relatable perspective to teaching young learners.

I have experience tutoring children online and have worked with young learners in different educational settings. This experience has helped me learn how to adapt my teaching style to suit each child’s unique way of learning. I’m patient, friendly, and create a supportive space where children feel comfortable to ask questions and make mistakes—because that’s the best way to learn!

Lessons are usually held online via Zoom or another platform you prefer. I prepare fun worksheets, quizzes, and interactive activities like drawing or role-play to keep the lessons lively and engaging.

Parents often tell me their kids enjoy the lessons and start using new words confidently in everyday conversations.
