I like to engage students with fun lessons, going over songs they enjoy and showing them techniques and tips on how to play better! Sometimes there will be some boring scales and practice that needs to be done, but you get that with learning anything if you are truly committed to it!

I come from a sporting background, having played rugby and football up until I was around 23. Since then I have devoted myself to my love of playing music. I had already been playing for years by this stage but I wanted to make more of it and so started teaching and playing live with my various cover outfits, playing such regular venues as the Cavern Club in Liverpool. I am still committed to improving on my instruments and even learning more in the near future!

I would want to try and instil a desire and passion for any student of any age or ability level, to want to improve and keep going until you are a proficient guitar/bassist. Even if its just to show off to your mates, or to play a song for your family at a family get together, having a passion for music and in turn, playing music can take on many forms! Most of the time when I started for years all I wanted to do was learn my favourite songs and play them to myself in my bedroom!

Week days suit me best for lessons, but get in touch and if weekends are all that suit you, we can work something out! Everything is flexible so get in touch!
