The first lesson would start with me figuring out what the student already knows, and what they want to get from learning their instrument.
Upon knowing that, I would then start constructing my lessons based on their interests, including crucial basic knowledge which is essential to practising effectively.
In my experience, students want to develop their own individual style, and this is something I help my current students with all the time.
I will provide work sheets with material to be learnt within and for following lessons.
