With over a decade of dedicated experience in the education sector, I provide a tutoring style that is calm and approachable yet remains highly effective. My teaching career actually began in China, where I spent two years delivering English lessons. This international tenure was formative, as it taught me how to dismantle cultural barriers for non-native speakers while maintaining an immersive and stimulating learning environment.

?After returning to the UK, I spent ten years as a Learning Support Assistant at a primary school in London. This significant chapter of my career was spent supporting children with complex additional needs and behavioural challenges, alongside EAL students and those in "gifted and talented" cohorts. My responsibility was to translate a rigid curriculum into something accessible and achievable, ensuring every pupil had the opportunity to reach their full potential regardless of their starting point.

?Now based in Essex, I specialise in secondary school tutoring, with a particular focus on GCSE preparation. I am well aware of the academic pressures faced by students today; consequently, my sessions are designed to bolster core subject knowledge whilst developing the robust exam techniques necessary for success.

?I am currently accepting students across KS2, KS3, and KS4. Additionally, I continue to support non-native speakers with tailored English tuition, specifically for those preparing for the IELTS examinations.
