Christivie Yangi

I have 3+ years of teaching experience and working with students of all ages and backgrounds both in a classroom based environment and also private tutoring. I currently teach psychology at a further education college in Ireland, therefore I have a good understanding of the field of psychology including all the concepts and theories. I teach all different areas in regards to psychology such as social psychology; cognitive psychology; neuroscience; developmental; brain and behavior.

I hold an undergraduate degree in the field of Psychology and Social Studies awarded by Maynooth University, Ireland. I have a 1st class masters degree in the field of education awarded by National University of Ireland, Galway. I am also qualified to teach students who may have additional educational needs such as Dyslexia or Autism. As I have completed courses that have given me the tools that will aide in making the lessons enjoyable for students with additional educational needs.

I try to make my lessons as enjoyable as possible just as the course itself. I use real life examples when it comes to explaining concepts and theories in Psychology. This helps students remember the information better for assignments and exams. I make ensure I incorporate worksheets throughout the lessons as this helps to practice what you learn.
