Christine Killen

I have lots of experience of working with students of all ability levels and backgrounds, and I pride myself on finding common ground with each and every one. I treat students with the utmost respect and always adapt to suit. My lessons are tailored around each student and will be flexible to suit each person's personal areas of need and growth. I will initially assess levels in different areas, such as descriptive writing, comprehension, reading and literacy and formulate a plan accordingly to help facilitate growth in these areas. I use a range of discussion and written tasks to help improvement, as well as lots of activities to help with improving literacy, grammar and sentence syntax. I will also consciously adapt my lessons to suit towards areas and styles of learning which appeal to the invidividual student.
