Learning a musical instrument connects the senses and provides an outlet for the emotions. I have more than 20 years experience teaching the cello. From beginners to advanced players, age 5-77. There are many interwoven skills and techniques that I provide for individual learning pathways so every student learns differently and has the ability to overcome barriers and create sound that inspires and encourages expression.
I also provide early music provision from aged 3 and ABRSM Graded Exam Preparation. Confident preparation for all exams leading up to grade 8 with the theory to get you there.
In my lessons I incorporate elements of the Feldenkrais Method, supporting a natural, balanced posture and being aware of every individual physical learning style.
