Hi, I’m Chris Watson — a native English teacher from the UK, CELTA Cambridge certified, and based in Spain since 2010.

I have over 15 years’ experience teaching English to adults and professionals, and I also offer practical Spanish lessons for English speakers up to intermediate level. As someone who has lived in Spain for many years and learned the language as an adult, I can explain Spanish clearly from an English speaker’s point of view.

I can help with general English conversation, business English, exam preparation, interview practice, and practical Spanish for real-life situations. My lessons are relaxed, dynamic and focused on real communication. I adapt each class to the student’s needs, interests and goals, so the lessons feel useful, memorable and something to look forward to each week.

I also teach guitar, which is why some of my existing reviews on this profile refer to music lessons. For language-specific reviews, I’m happy to send links to my student feedback from other tutoring platforms.

Pairs or small groups: from £13 per person/hour
