Hello potential students,
I am a third year Physics student with a strong background in A-Level Maths, Further Maths and Physics as well as GCSE Maths and Science. Tutoring should be a time where students ask questions and better their understanding on topics they enjoy. Rather than lessons being strict and a chore for students to get through, my tutoring is less intensive and meant to be fun. I have found that the subjects I do well in are the ones that I have felt comfortable being a student in. My lessons are designed to do this and spark a new passion in subjects that are evergrowing.

In the students first lesson, I will be getting to grips with what the student does and does not feel comfortable with. With this knowledge, me and the student will work together to build up a learning plan that I can use to put together tailored lessons for the student. Typically, I will use presentations to deliver content with a printout for the students to keep and annotate. However, I am more than happy to change the delivery of lessons that better suits the learning style of the student. These will take up around half of the tutoring session, with the other half being dedicated to working through problems together. There is no better way to practice Maths and Science than attempting questions; it also gets students exam ready.

I have plentiful amounts of experience in tutoring: completing the Levelling Up tutoring programme within my university, partaking in two separate teaching internships and tutoring my younger sister on the mechanics section of her Maths A-Level. A DBS Certificate can be promptly provided if you require one along with any other related documents that you may require.
